BROKENFAB

I discovered this designer at London Fashion Week last week. Brokenfab (Fabienne Morel) is a unique ecofriendly jewellery designer who is known for her intricate, eye-catching hand-beaded pieces. Brokenfab designs are influenced by the colourful abstract forms of artsits Frank Stella and Ettore Sottsass as well as disco music and African tribal design.

'The current Brokenfab collection – Disco and Boogie Beading – incorporates soft colours and a more sparkly, sophisticated aesthetic than previous collections. Musical influences such as disco, boogie, and electro continue to be represented in visual form in the pieces, to create a jewellery range that’s a celebration of abstract art, dancing and 1980s fashion. Pastel shades, geometric patterns and asymmetrical shapes define the high-energy designs.'

Carpark Photoshoot

Here's a photoshoot I did for my porfolio with my friend Elsie in the car park under where we live.. it was a lot of fun shooting in a car park but we ended up being followed around by a strange man so we had to leave.. I like the lighting :)

Colour For Fashion

Around Christmas time I did a colour prediction project where I had to predict a colour trend for A/W 2011 and apply the colour to a double page fashion spread in the style of i-D Magazine. Here are the images from the photoshoot and the final outcome below :)
